About the Role
As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at Healthy Home Care Solutions, you will be a vital member of our team, providing essential health services to elderly or ill members of our community. Your role is to ensure that our clients receive excellent care that is both compassionate and compliant with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Care:
Conduct client assessments to determine their care needs.
Follow individualized client care plans meticulously.
Manage and administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor clients’ activities and report any significant changes in their condition.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Emergency Response:
Be prepared to handle emergency situations with promptness and efficiency.
Respond to patients’ needs in a timely and respectful manner.
Family Support:
Provide sympathetic support to the patient’s family, educating and assisting them as needed.
Documentation:
Complete all required documentation accurately and within the designated time frames.
Ensure that all client records are up-to-date and reflect the care provided.
Compliance and Training:
Remain compliant with caregiver training requirements and state regulations.
Participate in ongoing education to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A desire to serve others and a compassionate demeanor.
Experience in home support services is preferred.
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
Flexible schedule, including the possibility of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel within the community to visit clients in their homes.
