About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Monitor patients’ health—for example, by checking their blood pressure—and report any significant changes to the registered nurse or doctor on duty.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider and ensure all medication administration is documented accurately.
Assist with the assessment of patient needs and health plan development.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patients with various health conditions.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and safety standards.
Requirements
A valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Proven experience as an LPN, preferably in a home health or long-term care setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently under the supervision of an RN.
